Born on 9 August 1994, King Von’s age was about 26 years on the time of his loss of life on 6 November 2020. He took start and was raised in an underprivileged household in Chicago, Illinois, United States, and later lived in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He was identified to be an American by nationality and adopted the Christianity faith. He was of African-American ethnicity.

He did his early education at a neighborhood personal faculty in his city and attended highschool at Hyde Park Academy together with his fellow rapper, G Herbo, from the place he graduated. With the corporate of G Herbo, he developed an curiosity in rapping and determined to pursue his profession as a rapper.

Career

King Von kicked off his rapping career in 2018. He released his single “War With Us” in October 2018 which was highly admired and gained more than 3 million views on YouTube. Some of his famous songs and albums include “Crazy Story”, “Problems”, “Block”, “Pull Up”, “What It’s Like”, “Beat That Body” and others.

He released his album “Crazy Story 2.0” featuring Lil Durk in May 2019, which secured 4th position on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. He collaborated with Lil Durk and released a single titled “Like That” in July 2019. His mixtape “Grandson, Vol. 1” was launched in 2019, and “Levon James” was launched in 2020. He also released his debut studio album “Welcome to O’Block” in 2020. Moreover, he had performed in several musical events and concerts.

In October 2020, King Von released “I Am What I Am”, featuring New York rapper Fivio Foreign. This release was in anticipation of his debut studio album “Welcome to O’Block,” released in October 2020. The 16-track album features production Chopsquad D.J., Tay Keith, Wheezy, and Hitmaka, among others. The album includes the Polo G collaboration ‘The Code,’ which was released with a music video. In December 2020, Lil Durk released his album “The Voice” as a tribute to King Von, who appears on the album cover and the song, ‘Still Trappin.’ In February 2022, the release of his first posthumous album, “What It Means to Be King,” was announced for March 4, 2022.
